Richard Fike, Sr. is the President and founder of Fike Management Services Incorporated, a U.S. based security consulting and operations firm. Mr. Fike is also the Director of Stunt Predators USA and is the Director-Soke at Madison Combined Martial Arts School in Ohio.
As the Chief Executive of Fike Management Services, Mr. Fike has extensive experience identifying international and domestic threats and developing appropriate countermeasures for the same. He has conducted hundreds of complex and sensitive military and government security and vulnerability assessments. Mr. Fike has developed and trained numerous government agencies in close-quarters combative skills, to include components of the DOD’s special operations community and the United States Secret Service. He has extensive experience in unconventional warfare, direct action missions, personnel recovery, counterintelligence & counterterrorism operational planning and mission execution and is a regular consultant for foreign and domestic protective service operations. Mr. Fike has a global networking capability for providing effective solutions to “at risk” governments, corporations, or individuals and their families.
Mr. Fike is a regular trainer and lecturer to private corporations nationwide. He has assisted civilian corporations and private sector partners with security operations and leadership/team building training principles at all levels. Mr. Fike is a state licensed instructor for Police, Corrections and Private Security Officers, and is an accomplished author of the bestselling crime prevention books: “Staying Alive” and “How to keep from being Robbed, Raped and Ripped Off”.
Mr. Fike has directed or participated as an actor/stunt operator in hundreds of movie and television productions for major operations in Hollywood and in other on-set locations. He remains active in the movie stunt business and is recognized in the Stunts Unlimited Directory, the Stunt Players Directory, and on Stuntphone.com.
Mr. Fike is an accomplished martial artist and is the Director/owner of a well-established martial arts business in Ohio. He routinely travels the country teaching conferences and seminars on self-defense close quarters combat operations, knife fighting principles, and his patented tactical rope-defense program for which he holds various rights and trademarks. Mr. Fike holds advanced Black Belts in Karate, Judo, Jujitsu and is a federal & state licensed explosives & pyrotechnics expert.
Mr. Fike is retired from the U.S. Army where he served primarily in the U.S. Army Special Operations Community. His primary duties included counterintelligence, counterespionage, counterterrorism and low intensity conflict. Secondary duties included providing offensive close quarter hand to hand and improvised weapons craft to special mission units facing Direct Action Missions. He established extensive networking experience with law enforcement and security organizations worldwide. Mr. Fike retired with a Top Secret security clearance (SCI access) with multiple caveats, and was stationed at Fort Bragg, N.C.
Mr. Fike has also served as a civilian special agent with a Defense Department Activity with primary duties as an investigator. He provided support within the corporate defense industry to include the world headquarters for Goodyear Aerospace, TRW, Westinghouse, Gould Electronics, and others. Mr. Fike conducted over 1200 complex investigations and was responsible for conducting extensive background investigations that included weekly liaison and in-person briefings with civilian organizations conducting sensitive business with the U.S. Government. Mr. Fike was responsible for the analysis of the corporate physical security systems and operational security management programs (OPSEC) while providing critical infrastructure security assessments.
